Summary
Nizami Ganjavi's works are rare pearls of art that never lose their poetic value. For this reason, Nizami's has always attracted the attention of scientists and has been the object of their research. Scholars have studied Nizami's views on history, philosophy, economics, chemistry, medicine, astronomy, physics, mathematics and other sciences and proved with convincing evidence that the great poet was also the most advanced scientist of his time. This article discusses Nizami’s life and works, described by the Azerbaijani scholars and writers Lutfali bey Azer, Abbasgulu Aga Bakikhanov, Mirza Fatali Akhundzade, Firidun bey Kocharli, Mahammadali Tarbiyet, Mirza Mahammad Akhundzade, Mammad Amin Rasulzade, Hamid Arasli, Ali Sultanli, Azada Rustamova, and Rustam Aliyev and the role of these valuable works and research in the comprehensive study of the genius poet's legacy was emphasized.
